I promise you I haven’t been lazy for over a week, today was literally my first day off from singing and I was so excited to finally get to the gym!! I was able to squeeze in some much-needed cardio (30 mins high intensity on the elliptical) this morning and later worked out with my PT client on partner calisthenic exercises and demo-ed various weight training exercises. After tomorrow’s concert I can finally get back into some intense weight training workouts and take some classes.
Food highlight: tonight I made some natural almond butter dark chocolate bark tonight to satisfy those post-dinner sweet cravings with a healthy treat!
Also I’ve been avoiding eating past about 9:30pm. I can’t remember the last time I‘ve achieved this, but it’s helped me stay on track with healthy habits while I’ve been performing and away from the gym these past 1.5 weeks.
